Is the holder located in an opening on the side of the pocket charger? Then you have an IQOS 3 DUO or IQOS 3. If the holder has two LEDs, then you have an IQOS 3 DUO. If the holder only has one LED, then it’s an IQOS 3.
You have to open the top of the pocket charger to get to the holder? Then you have an IQOS 2.4 Plus or IQOS 2.4. Now press the on/off button on the holder for approx. 3 seconds. If the holder vibrates, then it is an IQOS 2.4 Plus. If the holder does not vibrate, then you have an IQOS 2.4. If the pocket charger and the holder are combined in one device, then you have an IQOS 3 Multi.

    Yes, since your IQOS comes with no charge on it, you do need to charge your IQOS before using it for the first time. It is best to fully charge your model for the first use. The time it takes to do so varies from model to model.

    Yes, you can use the IQOS USB power adapter from another/earlier device version. However, the models IQOS 2.4 Plus and IQOS 2.4 still have a micro USB port, while the newer models IQOS DUO, IQOS 3, and IQOS 3 Multi are equipped with a USB-C port. Accordingly, these two series of models are not intercompatible.

    To charge, be sure to exclusively use the corresponding IQOS USB power adapter and charging cable.
